KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, on Tuesday, said that the M
uttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) must answer for its role in t
he Baldia fire factory incident in 2012.
During a press conference in Karachi on May Day, the PPP le
ader sought an explanation from the MQM-P over the incident that claimed hundreds of lives.
Bilawal said, “The MQM-P should giv
e an explanation over t
he Baldia factory fire tragedy, instead of pointing fingers at political rivals.” He further added, “The MQM-P need not worry. I will hold a gathering in every district. Lyari and Karachi
are very dear to me.”
Bilawal also criticised former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and said that Nawaz’s ‘game had been exposed’.
